On Wednesday, 17th June 2026. Our Executive Director welcomed the new student interns to the Planning House, noting that they had taken the staff Oath and congratulated them on their placement and deployment to the National Planning Authority. He said the placement would sharpen their skills and prepare them for public service, and urged them to let the Authority’s core values guide their time at the organisation. He encouraged humility and stewardship, and advised them to ground their decisions in ethical principles and a commitment to serving the public.
He also reminded them to treat colleagues and stakeholders courteously, and stressed the importance of honesty, transparency, punctuality and accountability in all tasks.
He concluded by once again congratulating the interns, encouraging them to be proactive and to ask questions, and assuring them that the Authority is committed to mentoring them throughout their placement.
