Kampala: 1 August, 2024: The Office of the President, Ministry of Kampala Capital City and Metropolitan Affairs (MoKCC&MA) with technical support from Japan International Cooperation Agency (JICA) has finalized preparation of Greater Kampala Metropolitan Area Integrated Urban Development Master Plan (GKMA-IUDMP) and the Plan is for display to get feedback from stakeholders and the general public.

The draft Master Plan is on display as provided for under Section 20 (1)-(2) of the Physical Planning Act, 2010. The display is to enable the public study the plan and give views on it.

Consequently, below are the maps comprising the Master Plan for your feedback. Please leave a comment on your views below the article.

The maps are also available for display at the National Planning Authority(NPA) Planning house, clement hill road, and the public is invited for viewing.

The NPA is hosting the maps and gathering feedback as a key stakeholder in Urban development but also to inform NPA’s mandate of comprehensive and integrated development planning.
